SG: Motorcyclist killed in CTE crash

A collision on the CTE on Saturday resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. The crash, which occurred at around 2:20 pm, happened near Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 exit, in the direction of Seletar Expressway (SLE). The motorcyclist was pinned and dragged by a dumpster truck for about 50m. According to eye-witnesses, the motorcyclist looked like he was in his 30s. The crash left behind a trail of blood and rubber on the road. It also caused a traffic jam that stretches back to the Braddell Road exit. The SCDF received a call for assistance at 2:27pm. Upon arrival, the paramedics declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene of the impact. Investigations are ongoing. Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
