SG: Pedestrian killed in crash
A driver lost control of his Kia and crashed into a traffic light at the junction of Tampines Street 11 and Tampines Avenue 2. The incident, which happened on Monday afternoon, resulted in the death of a 57-year old pedestrian, damages to the traffic light, a car and a taxi. The pedestrian was a Singaporean Chinese man, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by paramedics. The out of control car hit 2 other vehicles before it finally came to a standstill. The driver was brought to hospital, where he was arrested.
