SG: Revised ERP rates for quarterly review
The LTA has completed its quarterly review on the 27th of April. Based on their findings, rates at 4 gantries will be altered based on traffic conditions. For a set of three gantries after Jurong Town Hall towards the City area on the AYE, an ERP charge of S$1 will be put in place from 7 am to 7.30 am. Drivers did not have to pay to use that stretch before. Also along the AYE, a S$1 charge will be imposed from 7 pm to 7.30 pm for those passing the gantry after North Buona Vista Road towards Tuas. Elsewhere, a charge of S$1 will be put in place at the gantries along southbound CTE before Braddell Road from 8.30 am to 9.00 am. There was no charge previously. From 8 am to 8.30 am on the same stretch of road, the rates will go up $1 to $4. All new rates will come into effect from the 4th of May 2015. Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
