SG: SBS Transit bus catches fire along CTE
An SBS Transit bus caught fire along the CTE yesterday morning near the Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 exit towards the city. The incident caused a massive jam along the busy expressway during the morning rush hour. The SCDF was alerted of the incident at 6:38 am. A fire engine and a Red Rhino were dispatched to the scene, and the fires put out in 10 minutes. Happily however, no one was hurt in the incident; it was an off service bus with no one onboard.
