SG: Unhappy customers gather after dealership fails to deliver cars

Up to 20 dissatisfied customers gathered outside a car dealership yesterday after the firm’s failure to deliver the cars the customers have already paid for. These customers have allegedly purchased their cars from Volks Auto Pte. Ltd. in the last few months, and have not taken delivery of their cars even after the agreed dates have past.When interviewed, the consumers revealed that cost was the main attraction to the purchase of  the vehicles; the dealer was retailing cars for up to $10,000 cheaper than other parallel importers. The cars never turned up, and the dealership gave excuses when customers went to collect their purchases. Whilst several affected buyers are discussing actions they could take, some others have had enough and have made a police report. Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
