Tesla to manufacture 90,000 cars in 2016

Tesla definitely has ambitious goals. The American company manufactured only 3000 Model X EVs from late 2015 to early 2016, but has aims to hit production figures of half a million in 2 years. Initially, that aim was set for 2020, but thanks to the Model 3’s massive popularity (325,000 reservations have already been made), the goal could be achieved in 2018. To cope with the rapid increase in production, Elon Musk has said that production has been ramped up globally. As an intermittent goal, the firm aims to deliver between 80,000 and 90,000 vehicles in 2016.
