TOYOTA is 2014’s No. 1 Automotive Brand in Singapore

 Borneo Motors Singapore is proud to announce that Toyota has reclaimed the No. 1 leadership position as the best-selling automotive brand in Singapore according to figures released by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) last week. The results showed that Toyota cars were leading the pack among new vehicles registered last year. 2014 saw a total of 5,431 new car registrations for Toyota automobiles in the country, a 63% increase compared to 2013’s results.

Toyota has always been a top-selling brand and a preferred choice for customers, both in Singapore and globally. 2014 in particular had proven to be an exceptional year for the brand. Toyota had a very strong performance among passenger cars, commercial vehicles and Taxis (with SMRT choosing the environmentally-friendly Prius full-hybrid for their fleet) taking the brand to the top.

The main pillar, however, has been the outstanding all new Corolla Altis which was launched successfully, won many accolades and became the top choice for customers and Singapore’s No. 1 selling passenger car in 2014.
