Unveiled: BMW Zagato Coupe
For BMW the Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé wasn't the only concept they had up their sleeve at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. They unveiled the BMW Zagato Coupé which was designed in collaboration with Zagato. The Zagato Coupé is a different take on the idea of a two-seater BMW built for sport and style. With a long hood, rearward cabin and Kammback, the Zagato Coupé has classic proportions, with modern details. BMW has already put the Zagato Coupé in high-speed testing.

According to Zagato's Chief Designer, Norihiko Harada, the Zagato Coupé exudes a certain spontaneity which when combined with the type of unconventional solutions typical of Zagato, give the car individual elegance.

The New BMW M5: In Top Form and More Innovative
The BMW M5 is set to launch in July 2013 with fresh aspects in design, an optional Competition Package for a more impressive performance, and extended BMW Individual and BMW ConnectedDrive. With emphasis placed on specific areas of design, the enjoyment of the driving experience in the BMW M5 high-performance sedan will be enhanced.
In parallel with the launch of the new BMW 5 Series Sedan, BMW M GmbH's most successful models, the new BMW 5 Series Touring and BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo are also undergoing a planned modification. The brilliantly tuned design highlights the challenging presence of the new BMW M5, while the Competition Package, the new equipment packages and the extended range of BMW ConnectedDrive features highlight its innovative character.
The BMW M5 features a 4.4 litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and a peak output of 42kW(560 hp). Furthermore it has a seven speed dual clutch transmission, the Active M differential at the rear axle and model-specific suspension technology. All this ensure that the BMW M5 it will deliver an outstanding dynamic driving performance. While the Competition Package was specifically made to boost the handling properties of the BMW M5, the output of the V8 engine is raised by 11kw to 423kW(575hp).
