Video - 260hp. 2.0 Turbo Chevrolet Unveiled
In a distant but not too far off USA, this car was officially unveiled at the Woodward Dream Cruise auto event, held in Detroit.
The Chevrolet HHR SS features a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine that can produce 260 horsepower, and will do 100km/h from rest in 6.5 seconds, while the quarter mile distance is dispensed with in just 14.8 seconds, at which the car would be doing 158 km/h.
The 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS is scheduled to start selling in the USA during the fourth quarter of 2007, which is pretty much soon.
The 2 litre turbo engine in this high performance wagon/people carrier makes for a tempting prospect for General Motors to introduce it to the tax sensitive Singapore market.
