Volkswagen Group Singapore Launches Pet-Themed Charity Drive For SPCA

Volkswagen Group Singapore has launched a fund-raising campaign titled “Unleash the Zoomies” in celebration of International Pet Day, combining pet advocacy with its test drive programme.

Running from 1st to 11th April 2026, the initiative will see the company donate $10 to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) for every test drive completed across its Volkswagen, Škoda, and CUPRA models.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of animal welfare while supporting efforts to reduce the number of homeless animals. SPCA Deputy Executive Director Natalie Chan said, “We are honoured to be part of this meaningful initiative with Volkswagen this International Pets Day, celebrating the special bond between people and animals while advocating for their care, respect, and wellbeing,”

The campaign will culminate on 11th April with a pet-friendly event at Volkswagen Centre Singapore on Alexandra Road. Open to the public, the event will feature a pet market, workshops, and educational sessions on responsible pet ownership conducted by SPCA and insurer AIA.

Visitors can also take part in activities such as pet treat-making, browse pet accessories, and attend talks designed to encourage better understanding of animal care.

This initiative aligns with Volkswagen Group Singapore's ongoing support for animal-related causes, and its range of vehicles suited for pet owners.

They added that the campaign underscores how small actions, such as a test drive, can contribute to a larger social impact.
