The new Superb, disclosed only to a selected members of the media during hot weather testing last November, is said to be powered by the Volkswagen-Audi group 1.8TSI that throws out 160hp. Expect goodies like an Adaptive Frontlight System (AFS) for the bi-xenon headlights.

Dr. Eckhard Scholz from Skoda's Board of Directors said that “The New Superb is an exceptional car and brings a number of technical refinements and interesting solutions.”

Further details will only be revealed closer to it's world debut at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show.
