You Can Now Order New Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Variants In Singapore

Porsche has expanded its range of all-wheel-drive 911 models by introducing the new 992.2 911 Carrera 4S. This includes coupe, cabriolet and Targa 4S variants, bringing the total number of all-wheel-drive options for the sports car to six.

Additionally, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the 911 Targa, there are now two variants of this body style, originally introduced in the US market as the 'safety cabriolet'.

Grip for days

Around half of 911 S variant buyers opt for AWD. These models maintain a rear-biased driving feel, with Porsche Traction Management (PTM) directing torque to the front axle when needed for added grip and stability. The water-cooled front differential clutch is still controlled electromechanically, with only slight changes to the gear ratio. The Targa continues to be offered exclusively with AWD.

3.3 seconds

These variants feature the enhanced drivetrain from the Carrera S, powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine producing 480PS. That’s 30PS more than the previous version. This performance gain is partly due to a redesigned intercooler system derived from the 911 Turbo. An eight-speed PDK transmission delivers power to all four wheels. The 911 Carrera 4S Coupé accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 3.3 seconds (with the Sport Chrono Package).

Standard sports exhaust, brakes from GTS

They now come with redesigned 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), and a sport exhaust system. Brakes from the GTS models are now standard, featuring red calipers and large discs - 408mm at the front and 380mm at the rear. The Targa 4S includes rear-wheel steering as standard. While the Cabriolet and Targa have rear seats, the Coupé is delivered as a two-seater by default, with optional rear seats available at no extra cost.
