While Singapore’s lemon law only covers defects that were not highlighted at the time of purchase for 6 months. All Carousell Certified Cars come with a complimentary 1 year warranty coverage, that includes your engine and gearbox to give you a better peace of mind and confidence when purchasing from us.
If you were to find any defects within the 1 year warranty period, Carousell will do a replacement of the defective part free of charge. We will also include a complimentary replacement car during the repair period.

Within the 12-months of the warranty, if any defects are discovered, Carousell will replace the defective component at no cost to you.

The Open Market Value (OMV) is the 'actual' price of the vehicle as assessed by Singapore Customs when sold for export to Singapore. This price includes purchase price, freight, insurance and all other charges incidental to the sale and delivery of the car to Singapore.

What is Additional Registration Fee (ARF)?
The Additional Registration Fee (ARF) is a tax levied on a vehicle during registration. It is based on a percentage of the Open Market Value (OMV) of a vehicle as determined by the LTA. The ARF determines the PARF rebate, which is a key contributor to the deregistration value of a vehicle.
What is a Certificate Of Entitlement (COE)?
The indicated Certificate of Entitlement (COE) value is the value of the COE secured when the car was first registered.
COE is required for every car in Singapore to be registered for local use, and is a function of market demand and supply. There is a limited supply of COEs released and they have to be bidded for.

How much down payment is required and how do I calculate my monthly installment for the car?
The down payment amount is based on the Open Market Value (OMV) of the car.
If the used car OMV is valued at ≤ S$20,000, you can loan up to 70% of the purchase price or valuation price, whichever is lower.
If the used car OMV is valued at > S$20,000 loan you can loan up to 60% of the purchase price or valuation price, whichever is lower.
We also provide 0% down payment for selected car models at a higher interest repayment rate.
Alternatively, you can explore the option of trade-in to reduce the total amount or down payment required.
After deducting the down payment and trade-in (if any). The monthly installment is then determined by the loan repayment period and prevailing interest rates.
