Renault Koleos 2.5 4x4 Review: Mixed heritage

Renault Koleos 2.5 4x4 Review: Mixed heritage

The last time Renault attempted to enter the 4 x 4 fray, they came up with the Scenic RX4 which unfortunately, didn't really work quite well. But now with the new Koleos in the picture, can Renault finally make it into the fraternity?

What we like:
pros
Excellent traction courtesy of 4x4 system from the X-Trail. The available Bose audio and "Easy Make-Out System" can help you get intimate with your significant other.
What we dislike:
cons
So-so exterior styling. Lack of reversing camera.  "An SUV?  From Renault?"

This car of mixed parentage seemed like an odd combination at first, but it’s not a bad union. As we’ve found out, it combined the best features found in its parents without coming off as weird. People might think this car is bland, but it only is if you’re alone. If you’re with that special someone however, things can get special.

After all, the Koleos inherited the ability to get its occupants up into rugged areas with picturesque views. Once there, the Easy Estate System can be put to good use.

Just remember to bring the champagne.
