It was hard to pick a choice from the talented German squad of 2010. There are brilliant players from BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Audi but in the end the Audi S5 coupe was chosen for its all round ability and the (V8) muscle to score goals out of no where. The 354bhp V8 can now be specified with the S4's sport differential so that it can turn on the ball much better than previously. Its throaty V8 will drown the blaring of the vuvuzelas when it scores a goal. Just like Thomas Mueller, the S5 was sorely missed during Germany's semi-final defeat to Spain.

Italy has a strong tradition of fielding top class forwards in their World Cup campaigns. Who wouldn't forget names like Roberto Baggio and Inzaghi among others. The Maranello born Ferrari California continues this tradition for the 2006 world champions. The California is lightning quick in its reflexes and sprinting to worry opposing defenders. The 4.3-litre V8 offers 453bhp of muscle to intimidate opponents but the California's signature characteristic is still its unmistakable habit of going topless whenever it scores a goal.

The Dutch do not have any major car manufacturers but there's specialty sports car brand Spyker. Its latest model is the C8 Aileron. Unlike the other players in the team, we've not given the Aileron a trial (test drive) yet but since the Dutch are in the final, we just had to have something from the land of tulips and windmills. The Aileron looks simply fantastic inside and out and thanks to its relatively lightweight (1425kg) nature, the Aileron's Audi-sourced 400bhp V8 is good enough for a 4.5 second 0-100km/h sprint time. Its goal scoring nature is unquestionable - the Spyker is very akin to possible 2010 Golden Boot winner Wesley Sneijder.
