CAIDROX CD-3000 In-Car Camera (Black Box) By ZMC.
A black box is a device employed to record any instructions sent to electronic systems on an aircraft. Today's technology has seen the same device designed for the more common four-wheeled vehicles we are used to. We check out the CAIDROX CD-3000.
The supplied software (PC Only) installs direct from the SD card supplied, which is a brilliant solution as it ensures you always have the application on hand without the need to re-install it on the PC on which you wish to view it on.
Once installed, you can open any of the files recorded, play them back at slow/normal/high speeds and review the shock, speed and location data. The video quality is good, more than adequate for reading a car’s number plate and the wide angle lens provides a great view.
ZMC’s CAIDROX CD-3000 in-car camera is well made, compact and works really well. The unit was easy to install and small enough to fit behind the rear-view mirror without causing any distractions. The camera and GPS offer high quality data and we were very impressed with the captured video quality.
The software is simple to use and easy to understand. Being a Mac, user it is a shame that it is not supported on the platform.
