Good car engine oil improves the performance of your vehicle and protects the engine from wear on the inside.

Good lubricants are vital in maintaining your car well – Good car engine oil improves the performance of your vehicle and protects the engine from wear on the inside. It lubricates all moving internal parts of your engine, allowing them to work smoothly, decreasing any tension and protecting the engine from overheating. Fuel economy can also be enhanced with good engine oil. In the same way, it is like how we feed our pets the best we can so that they grow healthy and well, living longer too.

When choosing an engine oil that is best for your car, start with checking your car owner’s manual for recommendations. It is important to follow these recommendations or you might risk voiding your car warranty. Using high-quality engine oil can give you savings in the long run – one example is HOCEN.

HOCEN lubricants use the latest scientific breakthrough in metal treatment technology in blending the products and this special-blended oil has proven to save fuel and require low maintenance for many industrial applications and car users.

The other day I paid a visit to the HOCEN building at Sungei Kadut Loop and a demonstration of their lubricants for car engines was done for me using a cross axis machine. Such machines are commonly used to measure a lubricant’s performance under pressure, testing the load and wear of the lubricant.

The technology HOCEN lubricant uses is nano-Metal Treatment Technology (MTT) that makes it uniquely different from conventional lubricants. While conventional lubricants form a thin oil film on the mating surface of metals and cannot take great pressure or heat, HOCEN lubricants’ unique molecules are able to penetrate into metal surfaces and harden the metals many folds such that it reduces friction and wear by 96 to 98 percent. As the molecules penetrate into the metal surfaces, the carbon and other deposits that stick on the metal surfaces will be displaced and hence, cleans the engine.

Comparing HOCEN with a competitor brand using the same machine, HOCEN’s engine oil could take on much more load. What does that mean? Benefits that HOCEN’s engine oil include:

  • Increase of power up to 15bhp
  • Reduction of vibration and noise of engine
  • Reduction of engine operating temperature
  • Improvement in fuel efficiency
  • Generation of cleaner emissions
  • Reduction of engine wear by up to 98 per cent and extension of engine life span
  • Maintaining a clean engine
  • Less frequent oil change

HOCEN has a rather comprehensive series of lubricants for your car: the HOCEN Classics range (synthetic blend/fully synthetic), HOCEN Deluxe range (mineral oil/fully synthetic) and HOCEN Premium range (fully synthetic).

Should it be recommended for your car to use a particular brand of engine oil according to your owner’s manual, you can use the HOCEN Engine Treatment for cars. This can fuse into any engine oil and it just needs to take up 10 percent of your engine oil mix (eg. in 4 litres of the engine oil you are using, 400ml of HOCEN Engine Treatment is to be added). I witnessed the testing between using Brand X of engine oil with and without HOCEN Engine Treatment with the cross axis machine and the results revealed how just that bit of engine treatment product can help.

The other product that was tested in my presence was the HOCEN Penetrating Lubricant that, as its name suggests, penetrates rust and displaces moisture so as to reduce friction between the gears and prevent wear. This is something you might want to consider to further enhance your engine life and performance.
