The two new improved additions to the Panamera Gran Turismo family, the Panamera and Panamera 4, are powered by a brand-new six-cylinder engine developed by Porsche and opening up a new market segment for Porsche. These two new models combine the exclusivity, sportiness and individual comfort of the Porsche Panamera with particularly economic performance, setting new standards in the four door luxury performance segment.
Now made available to customers in Singapore, the two new models now boast a V6 engine that claims superiority in vehicle power. The new versions of Porsche's Gran Turismo are outstanding results of the consistent Porsche Intelligent Performance development strategy. Equipped with the Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) and featuring an Auto Start Stop function, both models consume significantly less than 10 litres of fuel for every 100 kilometres in the New European Driving Cycle. Nineteen-inch all-season tyres with reduced roll resistance, which will be available as an option, will reduce these consumption figures by another 0.2 litres. With these new figures, the new Panamera will offer an excellent fuel consumption of just 9.1 litres/100 km with a CO2 emis- sion level of 213 g/km, while the Panamera 4 will have a fuel consumption of 9.4 litres/100 km with a CO2 emission of 220 g/km.

More important to customers is the combining of economic savings with a much comparative sporting performance that is the mark of the brand, giving drivers a duo-benefit of optimised per- formance and consistent efficiency at all times. Matching up to its V8 counterparts, drivers are able to activate all relevant systems in the car to choose from optimum fuel economy or high- or- maximum performance. The range of optional Sports Chrono Packages for the two new cars is the same as the Packages in the V8 models.
The combination of superior efficiency and equally high performance requires more than sophisti- cated drive concepts alone. Consistent with Porsche's principle of Porsche Intelligent Perfor- mance, the models are borne out by lightweight technology with all relevant parts made of alumi- nium in order to keep weight to a minimum. The V6 power unit, in turn, is approximately 30kg lighter than the original eight-cylinder in the Panamera S and 4S, thus making its own contribution to the low overall weight of the Panamera of just 1,730 kg.
Porsche engineers have perfected the technique of designing the Panamera as a luxurious four- door car that presents great handling and driving experiences, while at the same time maintaining the unmistakable sporting prowess that all Porsche cars own. The Porsche Panamera and Pana- mera 4 are proud new additions to the unique range of four-doored, four-seater sportscars that redefine luxury and with comfort.
The base price of the new V6 engined Porsche Panamera is available at SGD 279,888 and SGD 299,888 for the Panamera 4. Prices are inclusive of the PDK gearbox a 5-year free maintenance and warranty program, road tax, and GST.
