CHANGAN Q05 Brings New Cat A EV Option To Singapore
The latest addition to CHANGAN's Singapore range is a Cat A SUV with up to 566 km of WLTP city range and a launch price of S$174,999.
CHANGAN's latest Cat A SUV brings 135 PS, up to 566 km of city range and plenty of tech to Singapore's EV market.
It has expanded its Singapore EV range with the Q05, a compact electric SUV that the automaker identifies as China's best-selling model in its segment, with over 100,000 units sold. Its exclusive launch price is S$174,999.
The Q05 measures 4,435 mm long and offers seating for five. Its 450-litre boot can grow to 1,380 litres with the rear seats folded, while a separate 90-litre compartment beneath the floor provides extra storage.
Equipment includes a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice control, and a 50W wireless phone charger. Ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof with powered sunshade and 256-colour ambient lighting round out the cabin.
A 99 kW (135 PS), 190 Nm electric motor drives the front wheels, drawing power from a 51.9 kWh LFP battery. The Q05 is rated for 394 km of WLTP combined range and up to 566 km in the city. Its 90 kW DC charging capability allows a 30 to 80 per cent top-up in approximately 25 minutes.
