The new Forester promises comfort, style and convenience to meet the demands of everyday driving
The all-new Forester is available in nine colours - Dark Gray Metallic, Obsidian Black Pearl, Spark Silver Metallic, New Port Blue, Topaz Gold Metallic, Steel Silver Metallic and Satin White. Two new colours also make its debut with the Forester - Camellia Red Pearl and Sage Green Metallic.
Two versions will be available for our local market - the Subaru Forester 2.0X and the Subaru Forester 2.5XT. Both models are available only in 4-speed automatic transmission with SPORTSHIFT. The Forester 2.0X is powered by Subaru's 150bhp Boxer 2.0-litre DOHC engine, while the Forester 2.5XT by a more potent 230bhp 2.5-litre turbocharged DOHC engine. Both models also comes with Subaru's trademark Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD).
The 2.5XT comes with additional factory-fitted goodies too - 17-inch alloys wrapped in 225/55 R-17 rubbers, HID lights, sunroof and side airbags.
An interesting feature standard in the new Forester is the Self-Levelizer. Fitted on the rear struts, what this does is to adjust the height automatically when the car drops down with a heavy load, thus ensuring that the car maintains the same height for a more stable ride.
Price has been set at $78,000 for the Forester 2.0X, and $88,000 for the Forester 2.5XT. Both prices include COE.
