The Hi-CT is a concept car built on the idea of pioneering a "cool" and "enjoyable" car suited to the thinking and lifestyles of the youth. The model is the brainchild of a team of young Japanese and European designers who designed it around the theme of "unbalanced." The team worked to create a car that would make the younger generation stop and look.

In stark contrast to the classic wide and low form, it has a totally new vehicle proportion that is centered in the front. It also has a plug-in hybrid powertrain, and the designers searched for new uses for the vehicle, such as features that power mobile devices.

Inspired by the thinking and lifestyles of today’s youths the Hi-CT features a plug-in hybrid powerplant with 100V AC system for plugging in electronic devices. This green car is powered by a 1.5-liter engine (perhaps from the Prius?).
