A new star is born
Borneo Motors launched the new Toyota Corolla Altis yesterday to an eager bunch of motoring journalists.
The new Altis is available with the following choice of engines – a 107bhp 3ZZ-FE 1.6-litre engine and a 130bhp 1ZZ-FE 1.8-litre engine. Both are available only in 4-speed automatic transmission, with the 1.8-litre variant equipped with a sequential shift mode.
The Altis has a combined cycle of 8.2L/100km for the 1.6-litre and 7.6L/100km for the 1.8-litre and complies with Euro III emission standards.
The 1.6-litre is retailing for $67,388 while the 1.8-litre is priced at $76,988, inclusive of COE.
