E-Go is the name of a new coach-building company which manufactures the car you see in these photos: the Revolt.
The Revolt is actually based on a Mitsubishi platform (the GTO's, perhaps?) and is powered by a 3.0 litre, twin-turbo V6 engine. E-Go claims that output is in the region of 550hp.
Getting all this power down to the tarmac is done via a 6-speed manual gearbox and 19-inch alloys with tyres measuring 245/40/19 up front, and 325/30/19 at the rear.
What sets this car apart from the other sports cars is that all its electronic systems controls have been placed smack dab in the middle of the steering wheel, with the driver having to make adjustments via touch screen monitors.
But will the system be easy to use or end up causing accidents? Our guess is that we'll all find out soon enough!
