There is already speculation that the A7 will be available sometime in 2009.
The production car is said to have the same flowing lines seen on these official sketches. The A7 will have several powerplant options, starting from a 2.8 liter that pumps out 204 hp, to a supercharged 3 liter good for 300 hp or a 4.2 liter V8 that's capable of 400 hp.
But for Audi RS fans who demand more firepower, there's always the A7 RS which Audi has mentioned to be in the works. It will be packing a 5.2 liter twin-turbo V10 that's expected to pump out a tyre-shredding 600 hp.
Whether the A7 is to become Audi's new flagship model is still unclear at this time.
