Audi Q6 e-tron Rear-Wheel Drive Starts From S$336,999

Audi Singapore has launched the rear-wheel drive variant of the Audi Q6 e-tron, following the earlier debut of the Q6 e-tron quattro at the Singapore Motorshow. Both models are now on display at the Audi House of Progress Singapore, where the rear-wheel drive version is also available for test drives.

Built on the scalable Premium Platform Electric (PPE), it’s Audi's first battery-electric vehicle and signals a new generation of electric mobility for the brand. As a key model in the premium mid-size segment, it sets new benchmarks in range, efficiency and offers impressive charging and driving performance.

The Q6 e-tron is equipped with a dual-motor powertrain (for the quattro version) delivering up to 285kW and offers a range of 543km. 464km will be the claimed range for the single motor, RWD variant. The drivetrain is 30% more efficient than the first-generation Audi e-tron. It also features fast charging, providing 255km of range in 10 minutes, with 10-80% charging in about 20 minutes for the quattro (270kW) and 21 minutes for the RWD (225kW).

As with all modern Audis, customisations are almost a given. It offers up to eight digital light signatures in its Matrix LED headlights and digital OLED rear lights 2.0. It also introduces the Digital Stage infotainment system, featuring the Audi MMI panoramic display and MMI passenger display.

What other information should I pay attention to?

It’s useful to note that the RWD variant is 200kg lighter than the quattro (2,125kg vs 2,325kg), and despite housing an additional motor in the quattro, luggage space is identical at 526 litres. A 76 grand difference for the quattro is notable, and for that chunk of dough you’ll get features like a more advanced ambient lighting package, a Bang & Olufsen system, augmented reality HUD over and above faster DC charging and heaps more power (5.9 vs 7.6 seconds from 0 - 100km/h).
