Blaupunkt Launches New Car Audio Product Range

Aiming to target the younger audience, four new headunits were introduced – the Daytona MP26, Maui MP36, Key West MP36 and the Bahamas MP46.

The new head units all sport Blaupunkt’s new distinctive ‘dog bone’ panel design and chrome trimmings, but the signature four-way rocker switch has been kept and jazzed up with an elegant piano- black finish. A new optional Bluetooth functions allows connection between the Head unit and compatible mobile phones.

The Key West and Bahamas utilize a screen featuring 4,096 display colours and programmable welcome/ goodbye messages, make the new headunits highly customisable. USB and SD card connectivity has also been implemented, making them usable for all forms of audio media.

Their new GTA range of amplifiers include a new "Direct Aux Input". Portable music devices like iPods and navigation systems can now be connected directly to the amplifier. Blaupunkt claims that these powerhouses are highly improved versions of their successful predecessors, with increased output performance and enhanced frequency response and signal/noise ratio.

Rounding off the launch was the introduction of Velocity series of speakers and amplifiers , comprising three amplifiers - VA1400, VA2100, VA4100, two speakers - VC132, VC172, and a subwoofer - Vw250. Sold as a top of the line component system, the Velocity series was designed to meet high power outputs without compromising audio fidelity. The new range of Blaupunkt car audio products is now available at all authorized Blaupunkt dealers.
