BMW Leads Singapore’s Premium Auto Market Again
Growth was led by strong performances from the BMW X1, X2 and 2 Series.

BMW Asia has once again been crowned Singapore’s top premium automotive brand, holding on to the number one spot for the second year in a row. The result was fuelled by record demand for BMW M models and the introduction of more than seven new vehicles. Sales were led by the BMW X1, X2 and 2 Series, while the brand’s push into electrification continued to gain traction. In 2025, BMW and MINI together captured 52.4% of Singapore’s premium EV market.

The strong performance extended across the region. BMW and MINI achieved double-digit growth in Vietnam (+21%), while BMW sales in the Philippines rose by 17%. In Indonesia, BMW maintained its position as the leading premium automotive brand, supported by steady demand across key segments.
Looking ahead to 2026, and following the Singapore Motorshow debut of the BMW Skytop and BMW Vision Neue Klasse X, BMW Group Asia will roll out several new models. These include the all-new BMW iX3, the new BMW i7 and 7 Series, the BMW M2 xDrive, as well as a range of new MINI editions.
Founded in 1985, BMW Group Asia is the regional headquarters for East Asia, overseeing 14 markets including Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and several others across the region.
