CARSOME Group And JACCS Announce Expansion Of Auto Financing Collaboration Into Singapore

CARSOME Group Inc (CARSOME), Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform, has announced that it is expanding its auto financing partnership with JACCS Co., Ltd. into Singapore. The collaboration was first launched in Malaysia and is now being extended regionally.

Under this strategic partnership, JACCS intends to acquire a 49% equity stake in CarTimes Capital Pte. Ltd. (CTCA), the auto financing arm of CarTimes Automobile Pte. Ltd. (CTAM) in Singapore. CTAM is a majority-owned subsidiary of CARSOME. The investment marks JACCS’s entry into its sixth ASEAN market and aligns with its broader regional growth plans, supported by its collaboration with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), to expand its auto financing footprint across Southeast Asia.

CTCA provides financing solutions for car purchases and trade-ins in Singapore. Working closely with CTAM’s retail business, it helps customers manage the high upfront costs of owning a car through structured loan packages, while also offering financing support tailored to dealers.

The move builds on the existing JACCS–CARSOME partnership in Malaysia, through Carsome Capital Sdn. Bhd., which is approaching its first year of operations. That venture combines JACCS’s expertise in consumer lending with CARSOME’s automotive ecosystem to make auto financing more structured and accessible.

With Singapore’s vehicle ownership landscape heavily shaped by the COE system, financing is a key part of the car-buying journey. Through this collaboration, JACCS will leverage its experience in sales finance and financial services to support the continued growth of CTCA’s auto loan business.
