Citroen C5 Matte Black Edition

Citroën is taking advantage of the Paris Motor Show to preview a special series C5 with exclusive and dynamic bodywork and a C6 with an all-new, limited-edition “Prestige Pack” for extra differentiation.

Citroën continues to innovate with the highly successful C5, launching a special series model in March 2011 in response to a growing number of motorists who want to stand out from the crowd. The new model, based on the Exclusive version, features matt black Perla Nera paint and 19-inch matt grey Hephaïs wheel rims. The new trim perfectly matches the Citroën C5’s elegant, dynamic style.

Citroën used an innovative process to obtain this paint effect, demonstrating all of the brand’s “Créative Technologie”. The car is painted directly in matt, industrially rather than by an external tuning company. A layer of special varnish is applied in-plant above the traditional layer of black paint for top-grade quality and
durability.

The French Marque’s range-topping C6 is taking refinement and customisation to another level with the fittingly named Prestige Pack, available on Exclusive trim.

Outside, the Prestige Pack features two-tone paintwork in ink blue for the body and onyx black for the roof and arches. The roof is also lined in black adhesive trim to further underline the car’s distinctive personality.

Inside, the C6’s leather upholstery comes in two new colours, Club blue and Claudia black, for a harmonious and premium onboard atmosphere. Passengers also get a web connection with WiFi on Board
for business-class travel, comfortably ensconced in the electrically-adjustable rear seats. This new series of the Citroën C6, manufactured at the Rennes production centre, targets car lovers looking
for unrivalled ride comfort.
