COE Premiums Close Higher In 4 out of 5 Categories In First Bidding Exercise Of September 2022

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed higher in 4 out of 5 categories in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (7 September).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$86,000, a decrease of S$1,889.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$113,000, an increase of S$999 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$5,899 to S$64,989.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up by S$200, to S$11,301.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$1,298, to S$113,299.
