COE Premiums Close Mixed In First Bidding Exercise Of May 2022

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums close mixed in the latest bidding exercise on Friday (6 May).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at $70,901, an increase of S$2,202.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$92,090, an increase of S$2,088 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$1,112 to S$50,890.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went down by S$312, to S$9,489.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$4,689, to S$91,112.
