COE Premiums Decrease In 4 Out Of 5 Categories In Final Bidding Exercise Of 2022

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed lower in all categories except for Category B, in the last bidding exercise of the year (21 December).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$88,007, a decrease of S$496.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$108,006, an increase of S$2,505 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$3,301 to S$78,200.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went down by S$410, to S$11,690.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$924, to S$109,600.
