COE Premiums End Mixed In First COE Bidding Exercise of July 2024

Cat A COE remain largely unchanged, while gap closes for six-figure Cat B and E premiums

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$91,001, an increase of S$112 from the previous tender.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$100,901, a decrease of S$1,433 from the previous result.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$101 to S$70,001.

In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced a decrease of S$102, to S$8,900.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$889, to S$100,889.
