Cycle & Carriage an Official Sponsor of the 8th ASEAN Para Games

Cycle & Carriage, has announced that it will be one of the major sponsors for the 8th ASEAN Para Games to be held from 3 - 9 December 2015.

Singapore will play host to over 3,000 athletes and officials at the biennial multi-sports event for persons with disabilities of this scale for the first time.

Cycle & Carriage has committed 78 car comprising various makes and models under Cycle & Carriage’s stable to the Para Games.

“It is our honour to be a major contributing partner to the 8th ASEAN Para Games. At Cycle &
Carriage, our people are the key driving force for our organisation’s success and we hold the same belief for the success of the Para Games. Our commitment of delivering first class experience to the dignitaries and games officials, especially those with special needs, gives us great honour and pleasure to support the major sporting event, which is a first for Singapore,’ said Mr Eric Chan, Managing Director of Singapore Motor Operations.

The 78 vehicles provided by Cycle & Carriage are from the five automotive brands held under the company’s umbrella – Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Kia, Citroën and the newly acquired light commercial vehicle brand, Maxus. This includes 15 Mercedes-Benz E220, 30 Mitsubishi Attrage, 15 Mitsubishi Outlander, 10 Kia Forte K3, five Citroën Cactus and three multi-seater commuters from Maxus.

Cycle & Carriage will further extend its sponsorship of the wheelchair-friendly Maxus commuter to the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) after the games for two years, as part of the
company’s continuous support in bringing ease of accessibility to persons with disabilities. The newly acquired brand will be officially launched in Singapore in December this year.
