Dorifto! Brings Indoor Drifting Experience To Singapore

A new indoor drifting concept, Dorifto!, has opened at Velocity @ Novena Square on 16 April 2026, introducing a compact, electric-powered drifting experience designed for both enthusiasts and first-timers.

Located on carpark Level 6A, the facility draws inspiration from Japan’s touge mountain roads, reimagined into a controlled indoor environment where participants can experience drifting in a safe and accessible format. The concept centres on purpose-built mini drift cars, allowing users of varying skill levels to “go sideways” without the risks typically associated with motorsport.

Developed by a team of Singaporean racers, Dorifto! blends elements of car culture with a lifestyle-driven social space, positioning itself as more than just a driving activity. The venue is designed to appeal not only to automotive enthusiasts, but also to casual visitors seeking a unique leisure experience.

“We wanted to create something that goes beyond just driving,” said Gladys Lam, co-founder of Dorifto!. “We intentionally designed the space so that anyone, whether you’re into cars or not, young or old, can come in, try something new, and just have fun.”

Safety has been a key consideration in the design of the experience. The electric mini drift cars are equipped with integrated safety bumpers to minimise impact, while the track incorporates water barriers to reduce the severity of accidental collisions. Dorifto! emphasise that the vehicles are not bumper cars, but engineered for controlled drifting.

Participants must be at least seven years old and 120 cm tall, and able to follow safety instructions. Filming is permitted only with mounted devices, with handheld recording prohibited while driving.

Adding a nostalgic touch, the drift cars are styled after iconic Japanese models such as the Toyota AE86 and Mazda RX-7, paying homage to the cult drifting series Initial D.

Dorifto! operates daily, from 12 pm to 10 pm on weekdays, and 10 am to 10 pm on weekends. The venue will also be available for private events and group bookings.
