Eclipse 2007
TORONTO — Mitsubishi Motors grabbed the spotlight when it used the Canadian International Auto show to pull the wraps off two vehicles. The all-new 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Convertible was introduced to the media along with the redesigned 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback. The Sportback was rolled out as an exclusive-to-Canada model.

Mitsubishi plans to showcase eight different models in 21 distinct trim levels at the show before it concludes February 27 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Designed to be an attainable, high performance Grand Touring / Sports car, the Eclipse Spyder offers room for four, a completely disappearing power top, high tech appointments and outstanding drivability, all with a sensuous feel. Two 2007 models are available: The well equipped Eclipse Spyder GS, powered by a 2.4 litre, 162 hp MIVEC engine and the ultra luxurious Spyder GT Premium, which features a powerful 3.8 litre, 24 valve, 260 hp MIVEC V6 engine.
The four-door, five passenger, compact Lancer Sportback wagon will come in two models for 2006, the Lancer Sportback LS and the Lancer Sportback Ralliart. Both have a swing up, one piece hatch type rear door.
Mitsubishi describes the Sportback LS and Ralliart as "versatile, practical, fuel efficient vehicles, packed with value, that are fun to own and drive." The Sportback LS is more subtle in style and presentation, while the Ralliart, with its rally heritage and sport tuned suspension, is the more aggressive family member.
Both models exhibit a high level of performance and handling, and are powered by Mitsubishi’s acclaimed 2.4 litre, SOHC, MIVEC engine, coupled to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
