GBR: Jaguar’s XE SVR to compete with German rivals
If you are interested in purchasing a Jaguar XE, you currently have quite a wide variety of engines to choose from, which range from a base 4 cylinder engine, to the current range topping supercharged 3.0-litre V6. However, reliable sources indicate the Jaguar has plans to inject some spice into the XE range in the form of a more powerful powerplant. The said powerplant is the 5.0 litre V8, which have been fitted in all Jaguar models so far in all manner of different tunes. No one knows for sure which version will call the XE SVR home, but do expect the 470 bhp ‘base’ V8 up to par when it comes to competing with its rivals from Stuttgart and Munich, although more powerful versions may eventually make it into the production car.
