The remaining four contestants - three females and one male - of the Subaru Impreza Challenge have made it past last year's record
timing of 77 hours and 13 minutes.

All four remaining contestants are repeat Challenge contestants and have been standing with their palms firmly placed on the cars since Saturday at 1pm.

This is the third attempt at the Challenge for both lone male contestant, Mr George Lee, 29, a civil servant and Ms Phua Lee Lian, a 33-year-old homemaker. Both Ms Rose Ong, 45, a financial services consultant and Ms Mary Tan, 35, a senior executive at SMRT are on their 2nd attempts at the Challenge.

Interestingly, Ms Ong is currently the oldest contestant standing, and also the only left-handed person of the remaining contestants.

All remaining contestants continue their bid for the ultimate title as gray clouds continue to hover at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. With all contestants looking surprisingly lucid and chirpy, it is anyone's guess how long these local contestants will continue to stand.
