Hankook R-S3 Tires Get Thumbs Up From Japan's Rev Speed Magazine

Hankook’s Ventus R-s3 was highly appraised for the incomparable performance of its UHP(Ultra High Performance) tire Ventus R-s3 in a tire review conducted by a leading Japanese automobile tuning magazine Rev Speed.

In this month’s issue, the Japanese publication picked Hankook’s Ventus R-s3 as the most remarkable tire among the first-class sports radial tires. The magazine wrote that Ventus R-s3 overwhelmed its rivals in all aspects including circuit lap time, handling, driving safety, etc.

The publication reviewed the six top-performance tires that were given the most attention at last year’s Rev Time Attack, which includes Yokohama’s Advan Neova AD08, Goodyear’s Eagle RS Sport, Federal’s 595 RS-R, Toyo Tires’ Proxes R1R, and Dunlop’s Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec. The magazine’s tire review concluded that the Ventus R-s3(tire dimension 255/40 R 17) stood out among other competitors with exceeding performance levels.

At the Rev Time Attack event last December held at the Tsukuba Circuit in Japan, Hankook’s Ventus R-s3 mounted on ATTKD BNR 34 recorded a phenomenal 58.672 second lap time. The Rev Speed magazine, who also hosts this motorsports event, added that its July review results were anticipated.
