Honda Civic Type R – The Mugen Way
As sure as the Civic Type R will find its way into the priority list of high performance JDM fans, Mugen has released their version of the widely anticipated car. With just the looks alone menacing enough to frighten the competition into a stall, this one will definitely raise the standards even further.
While in-depth details of the performance parts they have are still slightly sketchy, you can expect a decent list of mods available.
For a start, they have a Hi-Performance Air Cleaner Box, a Sports Exhaust System, Hi-Performance Engine Oil REV-R and Engine Treatment Oil MT105. You also can choose from two types of brake pads – sport and competition, brake rotors (320mm fronts and 282mm rears), micromesh brake lines and even a Hi-Performance Brake Fluid.
Keeping you not just in style, but in good control as well will be Aluminium Wheel GP rims and a sports suspension. And since you have all those options, you might as well consider their Mugen Full Bucket S1-R Seats as well, and top-up your dash with some neat gauges.
Add on the body kit and result is nothing short of stunning. Slightly disappointing though, while all these enticing teasers have been shown as available options, there have been no exact details yet about how the different parts will improve vehicle dynamics. But, that doesn’t mean it’s not going to be anything short of fantastic!
