In car cameras could lower insurance premiums
Besides saving you from a lengthy dispute over who caused the fender bender, that dashboard camera might just help you save some money too. This was proposed by a working group formed between the Traffic Police and the General Insurance Association (GIA). However, Traffic Police Commander, Cheang Keng Keong cautioned that improving driver behaviour on the roads is still key to lowering traffic accidents.
