Is the Remix Honda’s next CR-X?

For those of us that miss the Honda CR-X 2-seater, the Remix concept car may provide a ray of hope that Honda will re-introduce a sporty little coupe into its range.

The Remix is being shown at the Los Angeles Autoshow and it features a wrap around canopy, similar to a jet fighter. In form and shape, the car appears to be compact and simple, just like the CR-X.

Honda’s press statement about the car says: “The REMIX explores the shape and design of a two-seat sports car focused on agile and fun-to-drive performance that can also provide exceptional practicality as a daily driver.”

Not so clear is its engine, all that’s mentioned is that its got a 4-cylinder engine coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.

If its a free-revving VTEC engine, it sounds good to me - just put the car in production and bring back the CR-X!
