Just 10 Built: McLaren Reveals Artura 1000GP By MSO
Latest MSO special commemorates one of the biggest milestones in McLaren Racing history - its 1,000th Formula 1 race start.
Brands are rolling out milestone specials, but this one marks a particularly significant chapter for McLaren. The Artura 1000GP by MSO has been created to celebrate the McLaren Formula 1 team's 1,000th Grand Prix start, due to take place at Monaco later this year. Just 10 examples will be produced.
The visual treatment mirrors the commemorative livery used on the MCL40 Formula 1 car, with bespoke 1000GP graphics applied to the bonnet, sides and mirror caps. Heritage-inspired pinstripes on the splitter and diffuser round off the package.
A metallic papaya plaque inside the cabin serves as a reminder of the occasion, while the car itself acts as a rolling tribute to one of Formula 1's most successful teams.
When the lights go out in Monaco, McLaren will join an exclusive club as only the second team to reach 1,000 Formula 1 starts. The tally so far includes 10 Constructors' titles and more than 200 race wins.
