Lamborghini’s Italian Police Cars Have a Life-Saving Mission
Lamborghini’s latest video shines a spotlight on the officers and supercars helping donated organs reach patients in need.

Lamborghini has released Living Twice, a new video highlighting its collaboration with Italy’s State Police and their urgent organ transport operations.

Released on 9 October for European Organ, Tissue and Cell Donation Day, the video celebrates a partnership that began in 2004. Since then, police officers have completed more than 200 organ transport missions using Lamborghini vehicles.

The cars have also featured in more than 2,100 road safety education initiatives and are used for routine territorial patrols.

The fleet’s history began with the Gallardo 510-4, followed by additional Gallardo models and the Huracán LP 610-4. The Urus Performante entered service in 2023, supporting both patrol work and medical deliveries.
Its newest member is the Temerario, presented to the police on 4 September in the presence of Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi.
Under its bonnet is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 paired with three electric motors, producing a combined output exceeding 920 CV.
The vehicles are loaned by Lamborghini to support officers carrying out their daily duties, including time-critical medical deliveries where getting a donated organ to its destination can make a difference between life and death.
