Lamborghini's own race series
Better late than never. The Super Trofeo makes its debut in the carmakers very own single-make race series.
A Super Trofeo is actually a competition-spec Gallardo LP 560-4. Weighing in at only 1,300kg, each car is equipped with a beefed up 5.2 liter V10, capable of 570hp. Getting this grunt down to all four wheels, which are wrapped in Pirelli slicks, is a six-speed sequential gearbox.
Each Super Trofeo costs around 200,000. It's well-heeled owners will get full-trackside support at every race, along with the chance to unwind at the specially set up "Lamborghini Villages" at every venue.
