Lexus IS250 can now go topless
Lexus' new convertible will arrive in Europe by next summer.
This is what we get when the IS250 loses two doors and its roof.
The convertible will be equipped with a three-piece folding aluminum roof, which Lexus says will be the world's quickest. Lexus claims that it will take no longer than 20 seconds to go topless in this ride.
Boot space won't take much of a beating. Even with the roof folded and stowed, there will be enough space for a golf bag. The enhanced torsional stiffness of the IS 250C design promotes ride comfort appropriate to the marque and, in coupe configuration, reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) characteristics on a par with those of the IS sedan.
