Local News: Cat B COEs rise 7.3 percent
COE premiums rise across the board after the first bidding exercise of 2010 that ended yesterday.

Open cat COEs saw the biggest jump from $17,889 to $19,889, uu $2,000. Cat B COEs saw a rise of 7.3 percent to close at $19,190 while Cat A COEs saw just a slight increase of $352 to close at $18,502.
The rise in prices could well be due to buyers rushing in for their new rides for delivery before Chinese New Year.
