Local News: COE Results for February Round 2

Following this round of bidding, Certificates of Entitlement (COE) have plunge in most categories with the biggest drop in Cat A.

Category A (Cars under 1,600cc) segment COEs closed $8,808 lower this round at $78,301.

Elsewhere across the board, prices declined with Category B (cars over 1,600cc) COEs falling by $234 to close at $92,667.

Prices in the Category E (Open Category) have also decreased by $2,980 to finish at $91,910.

The full results are as follows:
Category A (Cars below 1,600cc) : $78,301 (-10.1%)
Category B (Cars above1,600cc) : $92,667 (-0.3%)
Category C (Commercial Vehicles) : $53,489 (-2.7%)
Category D (Motorcycles) : $1,512 (-15.2%)
Category E (Open) : $91,910 (-3.1%)

A total of 828 Cat A, B and E certificates were awarded in this round’s bidding exercise compared to 832 in the last round. A total of 1,522 COEs were awarded.
