Local News: COE Results for July Round 1
COE prices hold steady with Category A and Category E prices creeping up while Category B prices fall slightly.
The latest round of COE bidding tell the same story; despite slight fluctuations, prices still remain high.
The full results are as follows:
Category A (Cars below 1,600cc) and Taxis : $59,421 (+0.7%)
Category B (Cars above1,600cc) : $82,289 (-3.7%)
Category C (Commercial Vehicles) : $55,556 (-0.8%)
Category D (Motorcycles) : $1,760 (+2.8%)
Category E (Open) : $86,999 (+3.1%)
A total of 1,266 Cat A, B and E certificates were awarded in this round’s bidding exercise compared to 1,238 in the last round. A total of 1,869 COEs were awarded.
