Local News: COE Results for October Round 1

Categories B and D prices fell while that of the other categories saw a slight increase.

For the first round of the COE bidding exercise in October, Cat B and Cat D prices fell. Cat B prices dropped by $1,289 (2.03%) and Cat D by $31 (1.5%).
Cat A prices increased by $2,283 (4.76%), Cat C by $2,712 (9.01%) and the Open Cat also went up by $2,556 (4.09%).

Total quota for this round is 1,236 and this figure excludes goods vehicles (Cat C) and motorcycles (Cat D).

The final COE prices are as follows:
Cat A: 50,289
Cat B: 63,600
Cat C: 32,801
Cat D: 2,078
Cat E: 65,058
